After his debut single on the CXC release series in 2019, Romania-based DJ/Producer Brusten returns to Counterpoint Recordings, now with a 4-track EP for the main label. He invites fellow countryman Freqax and Mighty Boogie for 2 stunning collabs, and German MC Resc returns to drop his powerful vocals on ‘Res0nate’.
Based in Bucharest, Alex has been working closely with Counterpoint over a long period to create his first EP for the label which showcases the full range of his sound. His blend of deep & experimental sounds and dancefloor moods has secured him a steady flow of releases on labels like Syndrome Audio or Context Audio. Besides producing, he is also a very active element within the thriving Romanian Drum & Bass scene, promoting the acclaimed ‘B:Pressure’ underground event series in the local capital.
This EP is his introduction to our main label series and delivers on his premise of creating uncompromised, unorthodox and deep-funky sounds.
